With her romance with rapper 50 Cent still placed under a huge question mark, television personality and comedienne Chelsea Handler seems to have looked for affection someplace else: in the arms of hotelier Andre Balasz.
People magazine reports that Handler was at Sundance the other day, where she was spotted getting really “cozy” with Balasz. As it happens, Fiddy was also in town.
The two, meaning Chelsea and Andre, have yet to make their romance public but, word in the blogosphere has it, if they made no attempt at hiding it at Sundance, then they’re most certainly an item.
“The comedian and E! talk-show host kept warm with the hotelier at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, this weekend – even with her previously rumored love interest, 50 Cent, in town performing,” People writes.
“On Saturday night, Handler, 35, and Balazs, 53, caught the Florence + The Machine show at Bing Bar. ‘They were making out in the corner of the dance floor upstairs,’ says a source,” says the mag.
From the concert, they went to Tao at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift, where they made no secret there was something romantic going on between them either.
“They were
very touchy-feely, both laughing and really happy. They looked totally smitten,” another source dishes for People.
“But it wasn’t a one-night only thing for this new duo: On Sunday, they enjoyed dinner at 350 Main Brasserie with a pal. ‘They were giggling throughout the entire dinner,’ says a fellow diner,” the celebrity magazine reports.
Another spy vouches that Andre and Chelsea will return to Los Angeles together.
In recent months, Handler also made headlines for other things than her romantic interest and speculation on whether it’s 50 Cent.
After a joke about Angelina Jolie that she made during one of her live standup comedy shows, tabloids were busy for weeks writing about
a supposed rift between herself and good pal Jennifer Aniston, which occurred when Handler wouldn’t stop trashing Jolie.
