14 DAY TRIAL // Television personality and comedienne Chelsea Handler broke 50 Cent’s heart when she broke up with him right before Christmas, it has emerged. She’s now dating hotelier Andre Balasz, Uma Thurman’s ex.
Though they never confirmed to the press that they were an actual item, they did drop plenty of hints about the state of their relationship – which ended abruptly before the winter holidays.
Us Magazine claims to have it on very good authority that it was Handler who dumped Fiddy, though it doesn’t seem to know why as well.
Moreover, the rapper is said to be devastated by the breakup, something that he didn’t even want to believe it was true at first. Now that she’s already moved on, this must make it harder for 50 to accept that their thing is over.
“A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that Chelsea Handler dumped 50 Cent just before the holidays, leaving the 35-year-old rapper ‘heartbroken’,” the magazine writes.
“Determined to win her back, 50 Cent – who was first spotted canoodling with the Chelsea Lately host in October – ‘spent Christmas sending her gifts, but she sent them back. She put a note on one that said, “I can buy my own gifts”’,” Us further reports.
What’s even worse, Chelsea seems to have already moved on, taking her new man to Sundance, where they made no attempt at trying to hide their blossoming romance.
“According to an eyewitness, Handler had already set her sights on Uma Thurman’s ex, hotelier Andre Balazs, 54. ‘They snuck kisses’ at Bing Bar on January 22, the source says of the two. Handler and Balazs were later spotted partying at Tao before leaving together at 2:30 a.m,” says Us.
A “pal” of the comedienne confirms that Handler and Balasz are dating, saying “he’s exactly her type.”
Oddly enough, the same reports that put Chelsea and Andre together in Sundance as an item say that 50 Cent was also in town performing at the same time, as we also reported the other day.
