Friday, the 7th of December, the latest game from Oxygen will hit the stands: Cheggers Party Quiz, the game that will kick off the festive season, hosted by TV presenter Keith Chegwin. The goal of this game is quite simple: in a fun way, you will discover, with the help of the game and your Wii console which of your friends and family members knows the most when it comes to film, music and TV.

The game is designed for all ages, so there's no need to worry about a title that will make your kid
wonder about more adult-oriented stuff. Cheggers Party Quiz features eight exciting competition rounds (Opening Night, Big Break, Picture Show, Star Turn, Prime Time, Typecast, Channel Hopping and Final Cut) that can be played on your own or, even better, with up to four teams or individuals on Wii.

The game also takes the best out Wii's control features - the player won't have to boringly press a button on the control pad, but raise a hand in the air - the one with the Wii Remote, of course.

Keith Chegwin, podcaster and virtual star of Cheggers Party Quiz, says:

"I can't tell you how excited I am about my first video game appearing on the Wii. Cheggers Party Quiz and Wii are the perfect fit and we have so much in common - we're small but perfectly-formed and ideal fun for all the family this Christmas. Wa-hey!" With a broadcast career over five decades, Keith Chegwin rose to prominence in the mid-1970s with presenting slots on Multi-Coloured Swap Shop and Saturday Superstore, as well as hosting classic TV game shows like Cheggers Plays Pop.

Cheggers Party Quiz arrives on Wii Friday 7th December, priced at £34.99 and is already available for PC and PlayStation2.
