About a month ago, on June 28, a female cheetah at Zoo Salzburg in Austria delivered three adorable cubs. Two of the baby cheetahs are males, and one is a female.

Keepers say that the family is healthy and happy, and that the tiny cubs are putting on weight at an impressive pace.

When they were born, each weighed just 250 grams (about half a pound). At their latest weigh-in, the male cheetahs tipped the scales at 1,200 grams (2.65 pounds) each.

The female was found to weigh some 900 grams (almost 2 pounds).

Because they are very young, the cubs still have a greyish color. Apparently, it will be some time before they start resembling their parents. Zoo Borns reports that Ginger is doing a great job looking after her offspring, and that she is very protective of them.
