14 DAY TRIAL // The second Beta release towards Cheese 3.10, a GNOME app that uses your webcam to take photos and videos, was made available for download and testing, bringing numerous fixes, improvements, and a dozen of updated translations.
Cheese 3.10 Beta 2 will now automatically choose the highest available framerate instead of highest resolution for your webcam device, and the caps are limited to the maximum framerate.
Moreover, errors that have been already been set through a GError return from libcheese will no longer be overridden, a memory leak that appeared when freeing video formats has been fixed, cheese_camera_device_find_full_format() helper has been added, and git repository information has been added to the DOAP file.
The Belgian, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, and Polish translations have been updated in this unstable release of Cheese, and the Spanish, Hungarian and Indonesian documentations have been updated. For more details, please read the official raw changelog.
