CheckIt 2 System Performance Suite for Mac OS X Released

Smith Micro Software, Inc. Productivity and Graphics Group has released the CheckIt 2 System Performance Suite for Mac, a package containing a total of five utility apps that ensure your Mac is running flawlessly at all times, according to the company.

CheckIt 2 reportedly does the job of keeping Macs running at peak performance by combining five top utilities: TechTool Platinum, Spring Cleaning10, EMC Retrospect Express, ExecutiveSync and StuffIt Standard. Using these tools, Smith Micro claims, Mac users can quickly diagnose and fix hard drive issues, manage file clutter and back up critical files to prevent data loss, just to name a few of the benefits.

The software bundle also enables Mac owners to compress files to save valuable hard drive space, and protect those files with encryption. Lastly, users can sync their Macs' contents to ensure they're up-to-date on every system they access.

TechTool Platinum – Fixes hardware problems before critical information is affected and creates a bootable DVD to diagnose and quickly repair problems.
Spring Cleaning – Reduces hard drive clutter, protects data and online privacy, and helps users manage files to boost performance on their Macs.
EMC Retrospect Express – Backs up critical files and restores lost data so that users can easily schedule automatic backups to ensure their content is never lost.
ExecutiveSync – Enables users to keep their files up-to-date regardless of location or whether on a Mac, Windows, or Linux PC.
StuffIt Standard – Saves users’ disk space, making photos, music and documents smaller and more email-friendly. StuffIt also allows users to create StuffIt or ZIP archives and access over 30 different compression file formats

The CheckIt 2 System Performance Suite costs $99.99 and is available at a special upgrade price of $39.99 for existing users of the original CheckIt System Performance Suite.
