Check Out the Awesome “concept clock” App by Vertical Horizon

iOS developer Vertical Horizon has released a clock application that isn’t quite on par with conventional time keeping devices, but it certainly looks awesome. It’s an artistic clock that you yourself can customize using several clock systems and wallpapers.

The three-dollar app (2.39 EUR) provides 7 different visualizations of time and progress of time, and you can select wallpapers out of a provided gallery, or use one of your own. Photos will work as well.

You can also select a set of colors that match with the wallpaper (or don’t match, depending on how rebellious you are). Then, easily move from one clock to another by swiping over the screen (left-right, up-down or diagonally).

The app is localized in 5 languages (English, German, French, Spanish and Dutch) and it’s compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad (though it’s not iPad-native). It also requires iOS 4.0 or later to work.
