14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft officially introduced a new mobile version of the Office productivity suite specifically optimized for iPhones a few hours ago, but here’s the clip that shows the app in action.
As we’ve told you, Office Mobile for iPhone is based on Office 365 subscriptions, so unless you’ve purchased one of the available plans, you have no option to access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or any other included tool.
The application brings the essential features on iPhones, including dedicated sharing options to quickly save a document to your SkyDrive or SkyDrive Pro account. Separate options to easily email a document are also included.
The new tool works on iPhone 4, 4S, or 5, or iPod Touch 5th generation, with iOS 6.1 or later. Check out the video below and share your thoughts using the comment box after the jump.
