Ubisoft has released a brand new video about its Assassin's Creed franchise, right on the day when the latest iteration in the series, Revelations, is being launched in North America.

The Assassin's Creed franchise has delighted players ever since 2007 and, with the most recent titles, has reached new heights in terms of quality and sales, managing to impress millions of gamers from all around the world.

Now, with Revelations set to arrive today, Ubisoft has deployed a fresh video that recaps what happened in previous titles with their respective protagonists, from Desmond to Altair or Ezio, and documents their ongoing struggle with the evil Templar knights.

The footage also shares quite a few details about Revelations' premise, so check it out above and get ready for the game's release, today, in North America, and on November 18, in Europe, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and later this month for the PC.
