The dark comedy tells the story of Mavis, once a very popular and very much hated high school hottie. After her divorce, she returns home in Minnesota planning to win over her ex flame.
Since she doesn't see his marriage or the fact that he has children with his wife as an impediment, Mavis sets out to win him over again.
The three clips that were just released show the lengths to which she would – and does – go to attain her selfish goal.
“Young Adult” is out in limited release in the US on December 9, 2011 and Theron's performance is so good that she's even getting some Oscar buzz for it.
