The HTC Nexus 8 has been one of the most hotly rumored devices this summer, but the tablet continues to elude us.

Immediately after Google I/O keynote, some sources familiar with the matter assured us that the tablet is still coming, but the product just wasn't meant to be unveiled at the event.

In anticipation of the grand launch, designer Vishal Bhanushali has imaged what the tablet might look like when it finally arrives into the wild.

Recent information indicates the tablet will be introduced during a special event and there’s a high probability the tablet will arrive with Android L.

So the concept builds upon this speculation and shows us the possible appearance of a real Android L Nexus 8 if it ever becomes reality.

The tab is expected to arrive with an 8.9-inch display boasting 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and tapping into the power of NVIDIA’s Tegra K1 processor, which was present everywhere at Google’s I/O event. The same chip platform is pumping life into Google’s Project Tango tablet developer kit, which was on display at the conference.

The tablet imagined in the concept takes advantage of Boom-Sound Stereo Speakers and looks extremely thin and light, which might be the case with the real Nexus 8 tablet.
