The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 barely got introduced at IFA 2014 this fall, alongside the atypical Galaxy Note Edge which boasts a curved screen on the side, for displaying notifications.

But this doesn't mean some people can’t dream of the upcoming Galaxy Note 5, can they? The handset is more than a half a year away from launch, but the folks over at Samsung Galaxy Note 5 website (yup, we have a dedicated page for it already) have already imagined their dream device.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 could look like this

The renders you can see in the gallery have been created in Illustrator and depict a device with a curved body. If the Galaxy Note Edge is curved around one edge, this concept takes things further by imaging a handset with dual-curved edges.

It would be the natural progression of things, wouldn't it? As for specs, they are quite over-the-top. The handset is built around a 5.9-inch 4K Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The powerhouse of the handset is an Exynos octa-core chip clocked at 3.2GHz fitted with 4GB of RAM and backed up by either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.

As for photography, we have a 19MP frontal camera with optical image stabilization and a secondary one of the 4.7MP variety.

The phablet is kept alive by a superior 3700 mAh battery which should allow up to 30 hours of talk time and 40 days of standby.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is also envisioned to come with support for LTE connectivity and Android 6.0.

Like its predecessor, one of the major selling points of the Galaxy Note 5 is the S Pen functionality, which will be offered in an improved version. It’s also supposed to nestle a Hover Over technology.

The designers mention that the handset will be unveiled at IFA 2015, which is probably true. According to them, the device should be marketed at a $941 / €797 price.
