Accessories maker Belkin has released an awesome new keyboard case for iPad customers, made from aluminum alloy. Complementing the iPad’s sleek looks, the Ultimate Keyboard Case turns your iPad into a laptop.

Ok, maybe not exactly a laptop, but it will boost your productivity, according to Belkin. Its base is made of specially machined aluminum alloy to offer outstanding durability while maintaining a slim profile.

The keyboard is 6.4 mm thin, according to Belkin, but the video embedded above says otherwise. With the keyboard case strapped on, it looks like three iPads piled one on top of the other.

The case reportedly weighs 17 ounces. The keys are well spaced, and the case has a soundflow design that is said to enhance sound quality coming from your iPad’s speaker.

The keyboard is wireless, which means it pairs with your iPad via Bluetooth (2.0 for now). It turns on when you put your iPad in one of the three viewing positions and turns off when you're done using it.

The batteries keep it alive for 160 hours between charges, and it sells for the not-so-cheap price of $99 / €77. But it looks spectacular!
