The first Android Wear smartwatches, the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live were launched not so long ago, and albeit being in its infancy, the Android Wear ecosystem is growing at a tremendous rate.

At this point, there are more apps developed for Android Wear than there are for the Google Glass, and this means people are excited by the opportunities being made available by the platform.

When you think of a smartwatch, your mind doesn't necessarily jump to gaming, but even so a developer believes there's a niche to be tapped here, so he has launched the first game designed especially for Android Wear.

Suppose you’re sitting bored waiting for the bus and you wouldn't mind swiping up and down on your Android Wear smartwatch. That’s where SWIP3 comes in.

This is a simple match-three puzzle game, which works like most of the games under this category. Just match three blocks of the same color, and as they disappear from the board, they will be granting you some points. The goal is to collect as many points as you can.

SWIP3 is a title developed by Unit9 Games and can be downloaded from the Google Play store if you’re willing to throw $1.69 / €1,26 away. The fully-fledged version for Android is also available.
