Nintendo is set to hold a large press conference ahead of E3 2012 later today, but this hasn’t stopped the Japanese company from making another presentation, called Nintendo Direct.
During this special event, which you can check out through the video above, the company’s president, Satoru Iwata, has presented an array of new details about the upcoming Nintendo Wii U.
From the new design of the tablet controller, which is now called the Wii U GamePad, to a special Pro controller that looks a lot like the Xbox 360 one, plenty of technical details were showed off to eager fans.
Other important areas that were showcased include an online chat system, called the Miiverse, and a global service, called the Nintendo Network.
