Check Out Google's TV Ads That Dominate 'Most Effective' Top

Google has never been one for advertising, at least not in the traditional sense. It's more than happy to take your money for the ads it runs though.

This has changed very recently as Google started running some TV commercials. It focuses on long ads, 90 seconds sometimes longer that it only airs a few times.

The strategy has worked it seems, Google took the top three spots and has five entries in the top 10 "Most Effective Ads for Websites" as measured by Ace Metrix.

Google's recent 'Dear Sophie' ad, which you can see above, has scored the highest, followed by 'The Johnny Cash Project' and 'It Gets Better.'

It's notable that the top ad is a highly emotional one that focuses on the human aspect of technology rather than the Google sites. The other two ads on the other hand focus on how the web helps people come together.
