Google has been warming up to TV advertising in recent years and its most successful campaign has been the Search Stories series. It chose the one called Parisian Love for its first TV commercial, during the Superbowl a couple of years ago. The latest
batch though focuses on ordinary people using Google to do extraordinary things.
Google just aired a compilation of the latest of these stories during the World Series.
It tells the story of several people, focusing, of course, on how Google helped them achieve whatever they set out to achieve.
You can check out each individual story on google.com/searchstories, there's some pretty interesting stuff in there.
Granted, it was only a secondary tool in many of the cases, but, then again, that's probably what Google is supposed to do, stay in the background, help you out when you need to and then get out of the way.
