It's Valentine's Day again and this means one thing and one thing only, Google is running a customary doodle. This time around, Google pulled no punches and has created a video animation for the occasion.

The video depicts one boy's try at winning the affection of the girl he likes, to little avail. The video ends with small images capturing all the different kinds of love, from dogs and cats to aliens and astronauts.

The video doodle is not yet live in most parts of the world, it will go live in the morning of February 14, whichever time that may be depending on the time zone. It is already live on Google Australia or Google Japan, but not on the main Google.com homepage, which follows a US time zone.

My jaw dropped when I saw this animated doodle by google. It reminded me when the love of my life and I first met. He gave me small gifts of affection and I rejected him. It wasn't until he started doing things with me that I realized he was giving me the most precious thing of all...his time. We fell in love and have been together ever since. That was back in 1997.
