The Spike TV Video Game Awards aired last weekend, and besides the fact that a lot of trailers and videos appeared confirming new games, the actual awards were also given to many of the greatest games of the year.

Among the biggest winners we have Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption, which won the Game of the Year award, as well as the Best Song, Best Original Soundtrack and the Best DLC, for the Undead Nightmare pack.

BioWare won three awards, one for the Best Studio, as well as the Best Xbox 360 game and Best Role Playing Game, for Mass Effect 2.

Another impressive performance came from God of War III, as the game won both the Best PlayStation 3 title and the Best Graphics award.
