Myth People (developer) and GoBit (publisher) have released Burger Shop for Mac, an interesting cooking game that looks a bit like Majesco's Cooking Mama for Nintendo Wii. You receive strange blueprints in the mail - you build a food-making machine - you're in business. A free demo of Burger Shop is available for download.

After receiving a set of strange blueprints
in the mail, you build an extraordinary food-making contraption and open a restaurant. Your goal? To make food and satisfy customers while you explore the truth behind the mysterious machine, the BurgerTron 2000. Utilize unique food-making devices to make over 50 yummy food items during your quest.

Burger Shop sports many gameplay modes and more than 60 upgrades, while players have the chance to nab a total of 96 collectable trophies. "Burger Shop makes sure that there never is a dull moment as your kitchen sizzles with excitement! If you fry it, they will come...to your Burger Shop!" GoBit notes.

Main features of Burger Shop include 4 play modes, 80 exciting levels, 96 trophies to collect and over 60 upgrade choices. System requirements call for a G4 400MHz or better running Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Click HERE to download your free Burger Shop demo right now and start causing a stir. Click HERE to check out more stuff from Myth People.

Burger Shop costs $19.95 over at mac game store. Since Burger Shop is a digital download, purchases will not be shipped out to you. Here's why: a software product, that is of Digital Download, is not physically shipped out to you upon purchase. Instead you "Download" the entire game from the Internet (locations differ per product). After downloading, you install the game as normal and run it from your Hard Drive. Digital Download purchases are non-refundable.
