One of the easiest ways to find out the forecast for your town is to access it directly from your Pocket PC or smartphone. The latest version of Handy Weather, developed by Paragon Software Group, offers one-click access to the most accurate and updated forecasts.

The application has just been updated to offer full support for multifunctional interfaces and has been redesigned to give users an optimized, smooth finger-tip control. Especially useful for those that are traveling a lot, Handy Weather assures them that they won't need anything else but their smarpthone to check out whether they should bring their sunglasses or umbrella.

Paragon's Handy Weather uses Intellicast forecasts, which are supposed to be the most accurate in the world. Users will be able to check the weather seven days in advance, by looking at the graphic charts provided by the piece of software. Each day is also divided into four categories, so one can get the most detailed info about morning, day, evening and night forecasts.

Moreover, Handy Weather offers hour-by-hour forecast updates, if needed. The piece of software is set to display the weather for over 40,000 cities in the world. Users can add their city by location or preference. The maps of the application can be panned and zoomed in real-time. Handy Weather can be set as a plug-in on one's homescreen and it features two available layouts: detailed daily forecasts hour by hour or a five-day forecast.

Additional features offered by Handy Weather include: automatic updates at certain intervals, a multilingual interface, customizable units for temperature, wind speed and pressure, as well as over-the-air program updates. Handy Weather can be bought for 24.95 USD, but a 14-day trial period is also available, after which one will need to register the application. Also, bear in mind that, if you purchase Handy Weather, you purchase a one-year subscription to the service. After that period, you will have to renew it by paying a subscription fee.
