Speculation on whether Kim Kardashian's short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries wasn't just a sham has been around since before they even got married, but today, we have the first piece of evidence pointing to an affirmative answer.

For the past couple of days, photos and videos have been emerging online, suggesting that Kris Humphries may have cheated on Kim one month before she filed to divorce.

The implication is, obviously, that she decided to end the marriage when she found out about it.

To make matters even worse and, of course, potentially more scandalous, the alleged cheating took place in the hotel room Kris and Kim were living at the time, at the Gansevoort hotel in Manhattan.

You can see one of the videos now making the rounds in the video below, embedded at the end of the article: it shows a blonde woman smiling into the camera, while Kris is larking in the background.

Another woman is recording the whole thing. Countless photos have also emerged online – you can see them on Twitter –, thus setting up the stage for the perfect cheating scandal, if one was ever “perfect.”

However, in reality television and all things Kardashian, nothing is what it seems, Radar Online points out.

For instance, it would seem that Kris “cheated” on Kim with reality cameras around. Since that would have been impossible (not to mention quite a stupid thing to do), the only explanation possible is that it was a staged thing.

From this to concluding that the marriage was a sham is a mere step – and Radar boldly takes it.

“E! cameras were rolling during the incident. […] Also snapped is a large production camera in the upper right hand corner, clearly filming everything,” the e-zine notes.

“Leading to the question: Is the entire 'cheating' scandal a set-up for their hit show, Kourtney & Kim Take New York?” Radar asks.

One of the girls who were in the room with Kris only adds more fuel to the fire and unwillingly offers confirmation that, indeed, the “cheating scandal” was meant from the start to be written into the script

“@shellmerci is the acct that'll b featured n next weeks #kktny,” user glfitzpatrick wrote.

Even more telling is the fact that the tweet has been deleted since. Similarly, shellmerci is no longer on Twitter, which could indicate a coverup by E! producers.
