Over half a dozen titles went down to $0.99 in the Marketplace

Owners of Windows Phone devices are bound to have more fun this Easter, with a series of cheaper games available through the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Nothing has been officially announced on this for the time being, but WPCentral reports that Microsoft has over half a dozen games available for users at only $0.99.

The list reportedly includes Angry Birds, Burn the Rope, De Blob, Doodle God, IonBallEX, Max and the Magic Marker, Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp.

The offer seems to be highly appealing. In fact, WPCentral claims that this could easily become the biggest sale on Windows Phone Xbox Live titles.

It’s yet uncertain whether the sale was launched to celebrate Easter or as part of Nokia Lumia 900’s release at AT&T, but the actual reason matters less.

Stay tuned for more info as the official announcement on this emerges.
