As the
PlayStation 3 next-gen
console just launched in the US, following a series of violent events (PS3 campers get shot, retailers get robbed), here comes the first PS3 bundle via GameStop.com website.
The PS3 bundle has gone on sale on the evening of October 17, and it costs just US$ 994.29, not including tax and shipping expenses. But still, this seems kinda cheap, considering the price of a PS3 console on eBay or other online auction websites.
Furthermore, this bundle includes a 20GB PlayStation 3, two
SIXAXIS controllers, AV and power cables, a Talledega Nights Blu-Ray disc, six games, a Resistance: Fall of Man game guide, a 12-month subscription to Game Informer and an optional 12-month product replacement plan.
If you do the math, this is not a bad price after all, as it will save you the trouble of standing in line. And we all know, that game console camping has become a serious hazard. You wouldn't want to get shot, would you? I'm curious to see just how long the stock will last, as GameStop.com announced that we are dealing with "an extremely limited supply of 20GB PlayStation 3 console bundles". What we can be certain of is that it will surely sell-out.
