Nissan Leaf manufacturers want to make sure a large segment of clients will have new reasons to think about purchasing an eco-friendly electric vehicle. Their smart strategy includes a lower price and a wireless charging option.

Before the Tokyo Motor Show, the company has started bragging about its new green technology at the Oppama plant, the home of the innovative Leaf. It believes that the electromagnetic induction is around 80 to 90% efficient and can charge at rates between 3 and 6 kWs,  Autobloggreen reports.

Soon enough you will be able to forget about those gables hanging in your garage since you will be able to charge your car just like you recharge your mobile phone or other devices. Therefore, you have good two reasons to green up your conduct: increased energy-efficiency and an amazing price tag.

The company has kept the numbers secret so far, but the discount, combined with much more range, will definitely be appreciated. Vehicle-to-House power sharing system will start being commercialized on a large scale in Japan next summer, and it will only take ¥500,000 ($6,444) out of the buyers' pockets.
