It's hard to say what the best traits of a 3D printer are. Some would say that affordability is essential for consumer models, but then you have to sacrifice size, quality, and/or material support, among other things.
Some printers strike a decent balance between them though, and I dare say that the Creator Bot (not to be confused with CreatorBot) is one of them.
Made by a company from India, it uses FDM technology, fused deposition modeling as it were, meaning that it uses plastic filament to build items micro drop by drop.
It doesn't have a closed chamber and its build volume is quite small, at 5 x 5 x 5 inches / 127 x 127 x 127 inches.
However, its print speed of 100 mm per second is pretty good, and the resolution of 100 microns is also quite decent.
This means that the Creator Bot 3D printer only sacrificed possible build size in favor of a lower price, but nothing else.
Speaking of which, the device should be up for sale at the Indian equivalent of $470 / €470, making it the cheapest 3D printer in the country. Registering early on their website will earn you a 10% discount.
