Chaz Bono says he’s finally happy, having now transitioned from female to male

Chaz Bono was actually born as Chastity Bono, the daughter of singer Cher. Having embraced being a transgender and having already started the process to becoming a man, Chaz would like to sit down with Angelina Jolie to talk about the possibility about Shiloh going through the same experience.

You may remember how much of a fuss tabloids were making a while back, when they published photos of Angelina and daughter Shiloh (her and Brad Pitt’s first natural child) dressed as a boy.

The actress has never made a secret of Shiloh’s tomboy ways, even saying at one point that she always acted and asked to be treated like “a little dude.”

E! News caught up with Chaz just recently – and the topic of Shiloh and the Brangelina came up.

Bono says he volunteers for a support group for parents whose children experience gender confusion, therefore he knows what these go through everyday.

“I relate to these kids. The difference between them and myself is that I didn’t articulate it and fight for it and say, ‘No, no, no! I’m a boy!’ I have so much respect for these kids that do,” he says.

While he doesn’t know Brad and Angelina personally, he doesn’t rule out the possibility of one day meeting with them to talk about Shiloh, assuming she’ll still want to be a “little dude” in a few years from now.

“I would love to talk to them at some point, to at least let them know we have this resource for them if they ever need it,” Chaz says.

“People get too freaked out about kids and what to do with kids. If you just let kids do what they need to do they usually have the right idea,” he adds.

Chaz has also taped an appearance on Oprah to promote his first book, “Transition: The Story of How I Became a Man.”

He spoke, among other things, of the support system he has, made of his mother Cher and his girlfriend Jennifer. See some footage from the interview in the video below.
