It looks like Samsung is onto something big when it comes to its own instant messaging cross-platform application, ChatON.

The South Korean company has just released a major update for ChatON for Android devices, which brings a completely new UI design that promises to make it easier to take advantage of the application's features.

In addition, with the latest version of ChatON, users will be able to change the background of My page as they want and upload multimedia content, including images, videos, and location information on PostON.

Sharing multiple news from LIVEpartners with ChatON buddies is now possible as well. Last but not least, some abnormal stop issue when using Samsung Push Service v1.2.2 or above has been addressed.

You can now download ChatOn 3.0.533 for Android for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 or later.
