Charlize Theron will be James Bond's latest lady, as she was offered a role in the "Casino Royale".
Theron was the first choice of director Martin Campbell, so the 30-year-old actress is to star next to Daniel Craig, the British actor chosen to portray the famous spy.
Not only beautiful, Theron is also a very good actress, being an Oscar-winner in 2004 for her performance in "Monster"(2003), where she played the role of real-life US serial killer Aileen Wuornos.
The beautiful actress has been preparing for yet another potential Oscar-winning role: that of the single mother Josey Aimes, in the drama "North Country".
While studying her part, Theron has actually
worked a shift in the mines for 12 hours and met a few of the women who work there.
Also, when preparing for her role in the new comic book adaptation "Aeon Flux", she studied tropical lizards, in order to imitate the way they move.
The movie stunt director from "Aeon Flux" says: "There's a scene where Charlize runs on all fours and her belly is only three or four inches off the ground, so we watched National Geographic videos of geckos to analyze their movements."
So director Martin Campbell knows what he's doing when considering Charlize Theron his first choice for James Bond's lady.
