14 DAY TRIAL // Avid fans of the “Alien” franchise must be having the time of their life right now, what with the countless videos released to promote “Prometheus,” which will be out this summer.
To make the waiting even more bearable, a new TV spot is out – you can see it in full above.
Unlike the official trailers, this video shows a bit more of Charlize Theron's character (she's certain death awaits “down there”) and of that played by Rooney Mara.
It also makes the connection between the first “Alien” and “Prometheus,” though it doesn't go as far as to say the latter is a prequel for the former.
“Prometheus” is directed by Ridley Scott, who also directed “Alien,” and will be out in theaters on June 8, 2012.
