After breaking up from her longtime beau Stuart Townsend, Charlize Theron went off the radar for a few years, putting her career second while she focused on getting her personal life back on track. She will end this “break” this summer, when she has two movies coming out.

To promote both “Snow White and the Huntsman” and “Prometheus,” Charlize sat down for an interview with the latest issue of Madison magazine (quotes via Become Gorgeous).

She talks about her newly adopted baby boy Jackson, about still not wanting to get married and not being “in the market” for a new man, the challenges of being a single mom and, of course, what it feels like to be back to work.

Admittedly, it's all been great so far, but Charlize still hasn't gotten over her hatred of pretentious actors.

Speaking of her craft, she says there's no use – and definitely no originality – to pretending they're doing more than what they're actually doing.

“You know what I can’t stand? I hate actors who come and quote Nietzsche. I don’t like pretentious [expletive]. I like being around people who like to live life and understand the value of it,” the star says.

I need to be around people who understand we’re not curing cancer here. I like professional actors who show up, do the job and are not a pain in the [expletive] to either myself or the crew,” Charlize adds.

Method acting is all good but, she believes, it's definitely not the only way to make an excellent film.

“I don’t believe in this idea that if you’re [expletive]-ed up and Method, that’s the only way to do good work. It’s bull[expletive]. A professional actor does their homework beforehand and they do their job. Then when it’s all said and done, they have a beer with the crew. That’s what a professional actor does,” the stunning actress explains.

In the same interview, Charlize reveals that she always knew she was going to adopt, and gushes about her bundle of joy.

As weird as it might sound to some, she still doesn't feel the need to be married to feel that her life is complete because, either way, she “treat[s her] relationships like marriages.”
