Charlize Theron Gets Scolded

The Oscar-winning actress might be living with her own Monster, according to sources from the media. Theron was humiliated, yelled at and scolded in a restaurant packed with people for being late 45 minutes for a dinner date and despite having apologized a couple of times.

Charlize is a steady relationship with Irish-born actor Stuart Townsend ('Queen of the Damned', 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen') for almost five years. Recently, they were supposed to have dinner at the Hungry Cat restaurant in Hollywood, in the company of another pair and after that, to attend a Radiohead concert.

But the actress, for some reason or another, arrived 45 minutes later than the appointed hour and was more than surprised to see her boyfriend unleash a string of malicious commentaries on her. An eyewitness, a waiter from the establishment, described the embarrassing incident for the 'Mirror':

'Charlize sat teary eyed as Stuart acted like a school master, lecturing her in front of her friends - like she was a tardy student. Charlize kept trying to apologize, but he wouldn't let it go, calling her rude in front of their two guests. She was really embarrassed. She pleaded: "I'm so sorry I'm late, and I'm sorry you had to wait but I'm here now," before soothing him with kisses and caresses until he finally let up. He eventually gave in and said: "I forgive you, but don't let it happen again."'

The same source said that the two actors finally made it up with kisses and hugs but not before everyone in the restaurant stared at them for what seemed as a really long time.
