Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Hints (PS2)

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a video game created by High Voltage Software Inc and published by Global Star Software Inc. It was developed for the PlayStation 3 gaming console from Sony, for the original Xbox console from Microsoft, for the Game Cube and the PC. The game is classed as an action title with a lot of puzzle solving elements and it is played from a third person perspective.

In the game, you get to play as Charlie Bucket, who is a very a poor child, who is on an almost fantastic tour which takes him through the fabulous chocolate factory of one reclusive confectioner named Willy Wonka's. In essence, the now classic children's story is put into an interactive experience which really manages to convey the way a child sees chocolate and the surroundings.

Being Charlie, you discover that some of the elements of the factory are not working perfectly and playing the game means that you need to chance things so that it all works well. The big thing is trying to clean up the problems created by other children that are also taking the tour. The character you control will run, jump, carry objects, push buttons and command a small army of Oompa Loompa assistants. If you manage to complete all the quests that appear in the game, you might get your hands on the biggest prize of them all: ownership of the chocolate factory itself.

 

GAMEPLAY HINTS

 

Candipult

To use the Candipults, press Triangle when near them. Rotate them with the Analog-stick and press Triangle again to set it. Aim all the candy balls into the giant bowl to complete the level.


 

Getting Augustus out of the pipe

Get two Oompa-Loompas, then find the stairs. You will find some machines. Order the Oompa-Loompas to work. Augustus should then blow up into the tube.
