Charlie Sheen signs $100+ million (€80 million) deal for 90 episodes of “Anger Management”

He said he had all the faith in the world in his fans and he didn’t lie: after his departure from “Two and a Half Men,” Charlie Sheen moved to FX on a new show, “Anger Management.” It has officially become his golden ticket.

Though there were some doubts as to his ability to pick himself up and start all over again on a new show, especially after the successful run he’d had on “Men,” Charlie Sheen has proved skeptics wrong.

He’s also about to become (again) the highest paid man in scripted comedy / television.

TMZ reports that Sheen has signed on the dotted line for 90 more episodes from “Anger Management” and, in doing so, has secured his future with an impressive financial deal.

“Charlie Sheen just hit the jackpot with ‘Anger Management’ – and now he could earn more jack than he made on ‘Two and a Half Men.’ You want numbers – our sources connected to the production say NORTH OF $100 MILLION!!!!” TMZ enthuses.

With good cause too: $100 million (or €79,770,300) for 2 years is more than some bona fide, Hollywood movie stars make, which goes to prove that, indeed, in some cases, the big bucks are not on the big screen but on TV.

“The show was just picked up for 90 additional episodes, and sources tell us Charlie has a huge piece of the profits,” the report further notes.

“FX made a commitment – if the first 10 episodes hit a certain number, the network would greenlight the additional 90 shows. Fact is... the show exceeded the threshold rating with an average of 4.53 million viewers,” adds TMZ.

The 90 episodes will be shot throughout the next 2 years and, as per the same report, are meant to keep Charlie extremely busy – so busy in fact that he won’t have the time or the inclination to get himself into the kind of trouble that saw him fired from “Men.”

To sum up all of the above, here’s something Charlie himself would say, and has been saying all along: Winning!
