It’s happening. Following numerous reports that Charlie Sheen would return to the “Two and a Half Men” finale airing next year, most of them originating from Sheen himself, who said he’d be game for it if producers welcomed him back, it’s finally happening.
Ashton Kutcher appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the other day, and in between gushing about his “amazing” partner Mila Kunis and their amazing baby girl Wyatt Isabelle, who is 2 and a half months old, he also sort-of confirmed that Sheen is coming back to the show.
As you can see in the video below, he started by saying that the finale would be so rad and unexpected that even he is “scared” right now. They’re yet to shoot the last episode of the series, but he’s been pitched an idea for the script, and he’s thrilled and spooked at the same time.
Seeing how Kutcher has mostly one very good reason to be scared when it comes to the sitcom, considering how much he’s been bashed online by Charlie, Ellen asked him the most obvious question: is he coming back?
Ashton stopped just short of confirming it, laughing all the way. He also said, “If you’re working on the Warner Bros. lot, if there’s sirens, come save me,” and later on, “if you’re smelling smoke, it’s not from me.”
This sounds like a classical approach of confirming a rumor without being held responsible for spilling the beans – well, either that or Kutcher is fond of toying with fans’ feelings, teasing them without any ground for it. Which one do you think it is?
