Charlie Sheen is dabbling in drugs again and he’s doing it on such a scale that he’s even started to “plan ahead” for his cocaine ODs. A new report suggests he’s taking nitroglycerin tablets to make sure he doesn’t die when he ODs.
In recent weeks, Sheen’s erratic behavior has prompted a lot of speculation about how he may be back on drugs again, even though he claims he’s as clean as it gets and actually insists on taking drug tests to prove it.
The
National Enquirer is not convinced. Moreover, it claims to have it from a very good source that the actor is still on heavy drugs like cocaine and the only reason he’s not dead is because he’s found a way to “beat the system.”
Sheen always has nitroglycerin pills on his person – and he places them under his tongue whenever he’s thinks he may be overdoing it with cocaine.
This way, he prevents a cocaine-induced heart attack, the Enquirer says, citing the aforementioned reliable source.
“Charlie Sheen has suffered at least four potentially fatal drug overdoses in the last six months – and he’s alive today only because of the quick action of friends and staffers at his Beverly Hills mansion,” the tab writes.
“He’s become a regular user of nitroglycerin tablets, say sources. The tablets contain a chemical compound commonly used to prevent cardiac arrest,” the publication informs.
“Since Charlie’s latest tailspin began in October, he’s suffered at least four potentially fatal cocaine overdoses – maybe even more – but his life was saved each time by people who rushed to his side and rescued him,” the source explains.
According to the tipster, things have gotten so bad as of late that Sheen is actually able to “predict” an OD and “plan for [it] in advance.”
Other sources recall the times they found the actor in his home, collapsed from drug use and in a terrible condition because he didn’t have the chance to get to the pills in time.
One expert (who hasn’t treated Sheen) says that the tablets are a “secondary line of defense” and will not work for ever, which means the actor should seek help before it’s too late.
“Charlie’s very good at beating the system. The question is how long he’ll be able to play his deadly game,” the expert says.
