If something or someone bothers Charlie Sheen, he makes sure the entire world knows about it, especially if it’s something he takes a personal interest in, like his belief that celebrities can get away with a lot of things except for being nasty or in any way rude towards their fans, to whom they owe everything.

So when he heard that this is exactly what Kim Kardashian did to a 6-year-old girl who thought the world of her, he lost his cool and ripped into her on social media, teaching her a lesson in gratitude and the importance of remembering where you came from – and who helped you get to where you are in the first place.

He’s sorry for that.

One last jab before apology

The one-sided feud started with Charlie posting on his Twitter one of his staple “poems,” telling Kim off for snubbing a 6-year-old girl who had asked for an autograph, and insulting her for her booty and her husband in the process.

He made it clear from this (now-deleted) first message: he had zero tolerance for stars who thought themselves above their fans and who forgot that they would be nowhere without their support. Kim out of all people would be better off to remember that.

However, Charlie wasn’t done. “Zero gratitude, zero awareness, zero talent, a pox on the face of entertainment she is!,” he ranted in a statement to TMZ.

He explained that he had heard from good friend C. Thomas Howell of how Kim snubbed the little girl, sending her bodyguard to “deal with it” when she asked for an autograph. He didn’t handle anything, because he got into the car with her and they drove off, leaving the girl in tears.

Charlie is sorry

Though much of his outrage seemed justified, especially when he offered the details of the incident that had prompted it, Sheen has done a 180 and issued an apology to Kim, also in the form of a Twitter “poem,” the kind he’s so fond of.

“Dear Kim,” he writes, “my extreme bad. really embarrassed by my actions. I was already [upset] about some other crap that had nothing to do with you. I heard a story that bothered me. wrote some trash you didn't deserve. Ever. I'm an idiot as often as I'm a genius. that day, clearly I was the former. xox”

Kim Kardashian is yet to address the “feud” publicly, but she did have her people tell TMZ that the story about the snubbed young fan wasn’t true because she was never “too busy” to sign autographs or pose for photos, especially if kids ask.

Naturally, “never” can be a relative term, depending on context, as the video below proves.
