While at home seeking treatment with an addiction counselor, Charlie Sheen found the time for a radio interview on topics like why he parties so hard, how he’s already kicked addiction and why his show “Two on a Half Men” remains on hiatus.

Sheen was a surprise caller on Monday’s the Dan Patrick Show, Us Magazine says, and he had a few things to say about the producers’ decision to put the show on hold until he completed his detox treatment.

As he sees it and as he’s already told producers, he’s already kicked his bad habit and is ready to work. Moreover, he insisted with them to take him back and have him complete the current season, but they wouldn’t have him.

In doing so, Sheen is speaking for the first time against CBS and the “Two and a Half Men” producers, who have been nothing but supportive of him, even allowing him to take a break in mid-season to deal with his personal issues.

“They said, ‘You get ready and we’ll get ready.’ And I got ready and went back and nobody’s there. I don’t know what to tell you... I’m here and I’m ready. They’re not. Bring it, you know?” Sheen says of his talks with network execs about resuming work on the show.

There’s a “moral clause” to his contract that prevents him from returning on the set until he’s completed the treatment, the interviewer reminds him.

“Nit pick, nit pick, but I don’t think [the clause] covers, ‘Let us totally dominate and interfere with your personal life.’ I have a contract. They said, ‘Get your act together,’ and I did,” Sheen says.

He also sends out a veiled warning to producers: he’s OK now so they should take full advantage of him until everything goes back to the way it was when he was rushed to the hospital after a 36-hour cocaine binge.

“I heal really quickly, but I also unravel pretty quickly. So get me right now, guys. Get me right now!” he says.

As for why he does drugs, Charlie says “Boredom. Wanting to make things better – whether it’s real or imagined. I was sober for five years a long time ago and was just bored out of my tree.”

TMZ has audio of Sheen putting the “Two and a Half Men” producers on blast for keeping him at home and not allowing him back to work.
