He has bought a car and he is looking for an apartment

Charles Ramsey is annoyed over a Daily Mail article describing him as broke and homeless.

After rescuing the Cleveland kidnapping victims from Ariel Castro's home, Ramsey made a lot of money from speaking gigs.

He inspired a YouTube song and an action figure toy, but the Daily Mail wrote that he blew all his earnings.

"I'm broke, bro, and that's the truth. [...] Money goes fast if you have bills," he reportedly said.

Ramsey fights back, telling WKYC that he doesn't have a job because people only want to hire him because of his name, and not his skills.

He bought a car and is currently building up his brand, intending to sell things with his image on an online store.

He then says he is looking for an apartment but is staying with family and friends until he finds one.
