Foxy Brown can rest assured now that at least one of her many pending trials is being closed... for good. While she is still on probation and undergoing an anger management program for assaulting two women in a manicure parlor, another case of assault was just wrapped up yesterday.
Rasheeda Ellis, a former consultant to Brown's management company, accused the rapper (real name, Inga Marchand) of making terrorist threats to her, over the phone, when she called to remind the star that she owed her money for services performed and not remunerated. The plaintiff also stated that Foxy has visited her at the office, accompanied by two men, and threatened her in front of all the people there.
Yesterday, the case was settled through a reciprocal understanding. Apparently, no financial terms were discussed; the only condition that Ellis had being that she is never to see her former employer as long as she lives. The attorneys for both parties agreed on this aspect, while stipulating that the two women are bound never to talk about the case with any media outlet.
Yesterday's hearing went smoothly, according to reports, although the rapper did try to convince the judge to bar the photographers from taking her picture as she attended the meeting at the scheduled hour. The request was denied and, even more, there was no special treatment involved for Foxy, as she was ordered by the judge to remove her sunglasses while the court was in session.
