Square Enix, the famous video game developer behind the Final Fantasy franchise, has released Chaos Rings for iPad, an enhanced version of the successful iOS game.Available for download from Apple’s App Store, Chaos Rings for iPad costs $15.99, and supports 1024x768px HD resolutions.
“Boasting the best graphics and gameplay ever seen on the iPhone or iPod touch and the number one highest sales in fifteen countries, the record-breaking RPG, CHAOS RINGS, now finally makes its way to the iPad!”, Square Enix notes.
iPad-exclusive enhancements include support for 1024x768px HD graphics, detailed backgrounds, intricate character expressions, and intense battle scenes, Square Enix says.
Over at the game’s iTunes page, key features are listed as follows:

According to Square Enix, the game’s plot revolves around a tournament where combatants fight for their lives.
The game takes place in the Ark Arena.
“Upon choosing a pair of characters, one male and one female, you will then have to fight against the other pairs,” the game’s makers explain.
“Each pair has their own story, and the truth behind the Ark Arena will not be revealed until each story is completed,” the plot goes.
Chaos Rings for iPad supports both English and Japanese, and is rated 9+ for Infrequent/Mild Cartoon or Fantasy Violence.
The game requires at least iOS 3.2 (the firmware shipped with the original batch of iPads in the US).
