Channing Tatum is getting ready for a very, very busy year, starting with February, when “Jupiter Ascending” opens wide in theaters. To promote it, he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel the other day, where he also revealed that he used to have an imaginary friend called Boy when he was still a kid.

Kimmel is always nice to his guests, so to surprise Channing, he invited Boy over to catch up and enjoy a peanut butter sandwich. You can see the hilarious exchange in the first video below. The other two are about Channing’s work on the set of “Hateful Eight” and his involvement in the upcoming Oscars 2015 ceremony.

Indeed, Channing is a very busy man these days. Besides “Jupiter Ascending,” he’ll also appear in the highly mediated Quentin Tarantino film “The Hateful Eight,” which is now in production, and in the sequel to “Magic Mike,” “Magic Mike XXL,” which has wrapped.

He is also set to make his superhero debut as Gambit in “X-Men: Apocalypse,” but that one won’t be out until next year. Rumor online has it that he might be getting his standalone movie as well, if audiences respond well to his character.

Considering that everything Channing touches these days seems to turn into gold, it’s probably safe to assume he will be getting that standalone pic. And that means more fun interviews like this one, as a treat for fans.
