14 DAY TRIAL // The new Symbian-compatible application coming from SymbianGuru developer, AutoProfiles, promises to change ring profiles as well as Bluetooth status according to your calendar or schedule. You won't have to worry anymore that your phone will disturb you in a meeting, as AutoProfiles changes its status to Silent or Meeting profile.
Once you install it on your device the application will read your calendar events, in case you already scheduled some. If you are not that familiar with the phone's calendar, AutoProfiles offers you a basic Schedule item, where you can set up, view and edit profile schedule according to your own agenda. Bear in mind that if you have two events at the same time that have been set in both items, Calendar and Schedule, the first one will override any other settings that you have done to the application's Schedule item.
The profiles used by AutoProfiles are those predefined by your phone. In case you decide to create a new custom profile, you will need to shut down the application and then restart it, so the profile list will be updated with the new one. The software also features 7 conditions that can be chosen: Once (Schedule activates at a given date and time, after which it is deleted for the Today tab); Workdays (Schedule activates every working day at a previously specified time); Non-working days (Schedule activates every weekend at the specified time); Daily (as the name suggests, Schedule activates everyday at the specified time); Weekly (Schedule activates on the same day and at the same time once per week); Monthly (Schedule activates on the same day and at the same time once per month); Yearly (Schedule activates on the same day and at the same time once per year). Bluetooth status can also be automatically changed, if you make the necessary settings. You can choose from: Don't change (Bluetooth status won't change when profile is switching); On, hidden (visible only to the devices previously paired with); On, visible to all (visible to all devices); Off (when the profile changes, Bluetooth is turned off).The trial version of the software is limited for 10 days, but you can benefit from the full version, obtained via a license code provided upon purchase.
