Chanel Brings New Skincare Line in January

Legendary French brand Chanel is about to introduce beauty addicts worldwide to the latest discovery in skincare treatments, as featured in the new Ultra Correction Line Repair. Even though the collection will only become available at the beginning of 2009, it is expected to take over the market, because of the magnificent, brand new method used to prevent and fight signs of aging.

 

Throughout time, beauty specialists have come to agree that one of the main causes behind the appearance of wrinkles and a poor skin texture is to be found in the fact that, in time, our skin cells can no longer be renewed at the same rate as when young. This, in turn, makes the skin become thinner and thinner.

 

Going against popular belief, Chanel experts considered another approach to the issue of fighting signs of old age. They took into account the fact that the passage of time also causes a hardening of the collagen in our skin cells, making it less flexible, and thus prone to produce wrinkles, as the skin loses elasticity. The innovative ingredient that the new collection brings is Cedar Bay FPA, a “Trojan horse” in the everlasting war against skin deterioration, which should definitely work on and improve the flexibility of the tissues.

 

Even though interested women would have to spend about $77 to $135 to obtain the five-product line, it would definitely be worth it, as Chanel is not just another brand on the cosmetics market, but “THE brand.” Ultra Correction Line Repair will also come as an exquisite, beautifully wrapped post-Christmas gift, promoted by none other than stunning supermodel Shalom Harlow.

 

As Catherine Rebours, a Chanel skincare director, confessed for WWD, “Almost half of our skin care business worldwide is antiaging related... We believe that share will increase with Ultra Correction Line Repair.” We’ll just have to wait and see.
