The promotion for this collection will expire in just a few hours

The regular Humble Bundle collections that have been promoted until now usually arrived every couple of months, but a new type of Daily promotion is underway, featuring a similar selling model.

Let's explain how the Humble Bundle collections usually work and what their purpose is, just in case you've never bought one. The guys from humblebundle.com take games from various developers, sometimes from the same studio, other times from various studios, and put together a collection of titles, which they sell at a ridiculous price.

You can usually pay what you want for some of the games, and a few others from the collection are only unlocked if you go over a minimum threshold. This is a good way of getting some great games at very low prices and there is no limit imposed on the keys they have on sale.

Users who purchase a Humble Bundle collection will receive the games in two ways, a downloadable installer and a key for Steam, which can be redeemed with only one click if you also create an account with Humble Bundle.

“3 games that are out of this world. Pay $1 (€0.73) or more to enjoy the strategic space exploration game, X3: Terran Conflict. Beat the average price and you'll also receive the space simulation game, Universe Sandbox. Pay $10 (€7.29) or more and you'll receive both games as well as to enjoy the ship-building, space adventure game, Kinetic Void.”

“A deal you don't want to space out on. Everything in this daily bundle would cost you a total of about $45 (€32.91), but we're letting you name your price! A new frontier awaits you on Steam. All of these games are available for your enjoyment on Steam. A DRM-free copy for Windows is also available for Universe Sandbox in this purchase,” reads the official announcement.

Before running to purchase the games you need to know a few things about them. X3: Terran Conflict is a fairly complex title that requires a good computer to run. It's available for Linux, Windows, and Mac.

Universe Sandbox is a sandbox game that allows users to create black holes, collide galaxies, and manipulate gravity with just a few clicks. It's not much of a game per se if you're looking for a plot and story, and it's not available for Linux (there's also no indication that it will ever be released on this platform).

Kinetic Void is a Ship Building Space Adventure game, or at least this is how the developers from the Badland Studio are describing it. It is available for Linux, Windows, and Mac, but it's still under development and it's far from ready.

The promotion for these games is set to expire in a little over eight hours, so this is your chance to get them.
