Beautiful Game Studios is sending word that it plans to get Championship Manager 2010 to gamers in September 2009. Publishing duties for the title are set to be handled by Eidos.

One of the biggest new features of Championship Manager 2010 will be the Season Live concept, which basically allows players to update the game each month so that the exact real life situation in the most important league in Europe is replicated in the videogame.

It will be ideal for those who want to get the same experience as a real life club manager but players who are interested in a more fantasy league concept can turn it off. Season Live is set to debut on October 15 and will be active for six months.

Roy Meredith, who is the general manager of Championship Manager, said that “With this game we are genuinely looking to change the face of football management games and raise the bar for consumers through bringing innovative brand new features to the PC football management genre. CM Season Live™ is the most exciting innovation in football management games since they began with the original Championship Manager™ game. This is the closest fans will get to ‘actually’ managing their team, fighting the relegation or promotional battles, dealing with the big name injuries or transfers as they unfold in the real world, throughout the real season.”

The game is set to get localized versions for the French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish and Polish markets, allowing for players to enjoy the simulator in their native language and Beautiful Game Studios is also promising extensive support after the release, in the form of both patches and database updates.

Gamers interested in football need to keep in mind that Sports Interactive, the initial creator of Championship Manager, split with Eidos and it is now developing a franchise called Football Manager, which is mainly regarded as being of better quality.
