Corner setupYou might have noticed that your players don’t score that often from corner shots. If that’s the case, then you’re definitely doing something wrong and here’s how you can fix it. In CM 2007, without proper instructions, players will have a hard time scoring goals this way. If you want to be the master of corner play, buy Rosicky and Kompany. When you have Rosicky, take all corners and free kicks, set corners to “edge of 6 yard box” and have Kompany as a DM with attack corners set to default. This way, your team has a solid corner setup ready to tackle those, up to now, frustrating situations. Easy to get playersJoseph Job comes from Cameroon international and is free. You can get him on wages of 500, and spend 80+ on lots of stats. Messi is easy to loan too, just pay Barcelona about 500k along with his full wages and he is yours for a season. Tom Stewart from Linfield is free and has great potential. Even though his stats are not amazing, they improve and eventually add to his effectiveness so much you’ll never know he was once a newbie. Marcelinho Carioca is a quality player that comes cheap. Too bad he’s quite old, but he’ll score a good deal to make up for it. On the opposite side lies Craig Lindfield from Liverpool that has the advantage of youth and is an amazing striker too. Cafu is amazing and will join most championship clubs for just under £1 million. You can get away with playing Joaquin in
MC at United, with Carrick being a DM and Joaquin being an AM/WR, as a balanced partnership they work well. Joaquin scores a lot of goals from there. GoalkeepersThere are a couple of incredibly good goalkeepers available, like Akinfeyev at CSKA Moscow, Soren Pirson, and Andreas Issaksson from Mankfester. Matt Murray hardly ever concedes goals and Maxim Shumaylov from Amkar great stats and only 16. Federico Bini is definitely someone who can develop into a top rate goalkeeper. I believe you can get him for about 1.5 millions. He is only 17 and his stats are half decent already. Simone Santarelli is very good. He's 17 and at Lazio at the start of the game. I got him for £2.3m with United, but you may be able to get him for less. Finding the best playersThis is a good way to find players with great potential: 1. Open up Player/Staff search 2. In "Filters" tick the type of position your desired player should fill in (GK – goalkeepers for example) 3. Scroll down to GK Technical in the attribute settings and set it to 80 4. Go into View and click Others 5. Order them by age and you have a list of good keepers with the best young ones at the top The All-StarsThe young ones need to train with the best so here’s a not so complete list of great players that have already proven themselves in the field. Barcelona offered me 20M + messi for him @ age 21. All the top clubs will chase him and offer whatever players as well. If you have downloaded an update patch then he is not as good though.

| Comment #10 by: andy on 12 Oct 2008, 22:48 GMT | reply to this comment | i manage united and bought these players,torres,walcott,rajkovic,paul anderson,messi,sahin,micah richards,palletta,bale,cech.totally overhauled the team bt after a couple of seasons purchasing these players and selling players from the original squad ive gone 4 seasons winning every trophy in site.i play a 4.4.2 formation with anderson and walcott as out and out wingers,their assists return is amazing both hitting the 30's mark regularly.i then play sahin and messi as centre midfielders with christiano ronaldo playing jst off torres up front.these 2 av both hit 50 odd goals overall a piece a season for the lst 4 seasons which i think is pretty dam good,along with palletta scoring in the region of between 15 to 20 league goals for a centre half ive been winning the league unbeaten with maximum 114 points and scoring between 120 to 140 goals.for me the best team that you can put together on the game.any one done any better than that. |

He will be wanted by most of the club because he's almost free. Offer him to a club part of exchange of the player you want who is way more valued than him. EX: I bought Alex from Fenerbahce for 15 millions then i did this and exchange it with Messi +1 million. Barcelona accepted. So It's like buying Messi for 14 millions ! I don't know if you got it but I hope u did. Some good players to be sold after buying : Franklin Salas, Alexander Rondon, Felipe and Emerson(al-sadd), Emile Mpenza, Yasser al Quahtani, Adriano and D. Capel for free ! |

i then went on to sign for real madrid and i scored 191 goals in one season with kaka adriano and gerrard gettin over 130 goals between them, i had the same formation but with:

mascherano

subs: akinfeyev, sergio ramos, kompany, roque, sahin, henry, luis fabiano
