Champions of Norrath Codes and Secrets (PS2)

Champions of Norrath (CoN) is an online-capable action role-playing game for the PlayStation 2, set in the EverQuest universe. It is playable with one single player or cooperative for up to four players. However, with a Network Adapter, players can take the game online with others and kill others or join to form groups of adventurers. The game uses Snowblind's Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance game engine and like that game is very much a "Diablo clone".

Snowblind created a sequel to CoN, Champions: Return to Arms that was released in February 2005. It features two new races The Vah Shir Berserker and the Iksar Shaman, more spells and abilities, and more throwable weapons like ninja stars and axes. Players can also import their CoN character with a new 80-level limit. One of the most interesting new features is the choose-a-path option that allows players to be good or evil. This will open new levels and increase replayability. The online mode also allowed you to play co-operatively with other players.

Codes

Raise character to level 20
This cheat only works in the North American version of the game. When you enter this code, your player will jump to level 20, have 75,000 gold and have 999 skill points. The bad thing is your player will have the same amount of STR, INT, DEX, and STA as when you created him/her. Enter the code in gameplay:

Hold L1 + R2 + Triangle + R3 - Level 20, 75,000 gold, 999 skill points

Hear the players talk
Allow the game to idle for over one minute. Your character will say something like "Isn't there something more important to do?".

Secrets

Death to Elves
There is a glitch in Act 1. Any npc elf running around, not stationary, can be killed. They give roughly 140-160exp each. You can kill them by selecting the erudite wizard select the spell Shock of Fire and aim it by an elf, make sure it hits something so it will explode next to them. It takes a little time, but shortly they will perish giving exp, and items and a little gold.

Quick attacks
If you have a one handed weapon equipped press the block button and attack button simultaneously to do a very quick strike, use this on a close enemy and you can see the damage rank up.
