Colorful match tile game for any age

On a short note about the company’s line of interest, I have to state that it has been developing puzzle games ever since 2003. It really hit it big with the release of what is now known as LinLink, a simple and captivating tile matching puzzle game that seems to have made its place into the homes of an impressive number of Chinese gamers.

If you’re asking what makes this game so addictive, all I can say with certainty is that once you get started, you find it very hard to let go. I would have never believed that a simple tile matching game would get me stuck in front of a computer while trying to reach the next level.

LinLink comes with a lively colored interface and animated tiles that make the game more dynamic. All you have to do is match two similar tiles so that they can be removed from the board, but at the same time you have to be aware of the rules. Just like any other game, I suggest you take the tutorial first so that you can get familiarized with the gameplay.

Children will be the ones that will be greatly attracted to the game because LinLink offers you cartoon-like themes and settings where you can practice your skills. At the same time, for single player gamers, at the beginning of the game, you are given the ability to select the difficulty you want to start with.

Although you might think that a game such as this one was made only for single player purposes, I have to say that I was impressed to find a multiplayer option. This enables you to play the same matching game with one of your friends across a network or Internet connection and race each other in matching the largest number of tiles. You get to view the other players’ movements in real time on your board making it a real challenge for testing your skills.

If you are done playing the game and don’t want to turn it off, LinLink allows you to use different animated images from the Gallery menu as screensavers. Personally, I don’t recall ever running to a feature such as this and it can be quite useful, especially if you want your desktop animated by beautiful images. LinLink can be downloaded for free by anyone who wants to take a look at the game's options.

For those of you that have been convinced and want to experience the full feature list, you will have to pay a registration fee of 19.99 dollars to unlock all the game’s goodies. Considering that it has so much to offer, I would have to say it’s a small price to pay in order to get a game that can be played by children and grownups alike.

Here are some snapshots of the application in action:
