A boat incident in Norway has left several boats and the marina damaged when a cement carrier went rogue.

The Cyprus Cement carrier was stationed in the Levanger marine, as were 10 to 15 other boats, Marnews wrote.

The collision was caused by bow thruster failure, a propulsion malfunction. Nobody was injured during the incident, and the tugboat crew attempted to leave the port.

The police and fire department arrived at the scene and Coast Guard officers stopped the boat and conducted an inspection on board.

Owner Kgj Cement Fleet Management might be stuck with paying over 1 million Norwegian crowns ($165,000 / €126,000) in damages.

The boat was built last year in Damen Shipyard Galati, Romania and it was cleared for navigation after safety testing.
